    Hi everyone,

The U.S. Government Publishing Office recently released its draft strategic plan for FY2023-2027, now available here: https://www.gpo.gov/docs/default-source/mission-vision-and-goals-pdfs/draft-fy2023-2027.pdf. This is an important high-level document stating and shaping the agency's priorities for its work. It's worth taking a look to see the breadth of what GPO plans to do over the next four years.

GPO has asked the library community (and the public at large!) for feedback on the strategic plan. Comments should be sent by email to comments@gpo.gov no later than April 29, 2022. Several of the sections are relevant to the libraries that partner with GPO in the FDLP, and advocates for public access more generally. These include work on expanding govinfo and preserving historic collections.

For more information, please see the news release: https://fdlp.gov/news/gpo-releases-draft-strategic-plan-public-comment. If you have questions, you're welcome to send me a note at shari.laster@gmail.com, and I'll see what I can do to help.

    Thank you,

    Shari
