With pleasure I announce the latest GODORT Oral History for your reading enjoyment!

Learn about the life and times of our cherished colleague Mary Redmond, longtime advocate for access to government information. Mary retired in 2007 as the Interim Director of Operations, New York State Library, where she still works as a volunteer. To quote from the oral history, "Mary has made a lifetime of contributions to government documents librarianship. She has earned a reputation as a capable and productive editor through her years at the helm of two American Library Association publications: Interface, the newsletter of the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies, and DttP: Documents to the People, the journal of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT). She served on the Depository Library Council to the Public Printer, 1999-2002."
