    GODORT Members -

There is (truly!) free money available for your research.  While it is often unused, the  NewsBank/Readex/GODORT/ALA Catharine J. Reynolds Research Grant money provides funding for research in the field of documents librarianship, or in a related area that would benefit the individual's performance as a documents librarian or make a contribution to the field.

MORE IMPORTANTLY... this money often goes unused through lack of applicants.

If you have an idea for research and need some money for student labor, for travel, for software, whatever the need, please consider applying for this grant.

    Applications availble at:  http://wikis.ala.org/godort/index.php/AboutAwards

Applications are due to me, asevetson@hotmail.com  by DECEMBER 1.

I look forward to reading about all of your great ideas!
