    Hi Folks!
It looks like I got the timeline for nominations wrong. We need DLC nominations now. As in December 1!
I would love to send a full slate of candidates (5 people) to ALA Exec to join this important group.
    Please send your
    • ALA membership number
    • Curriculum vitae (CV) that includes ALA, GODORT, state, local, and/or regional activities
    • a brief statement (no more than 200-500 words)

The Depository Library Council (DLC) is the advisory body that counsels the GPO Director and the Superintendent of Documents in matters pertaining to future trends, innovation, and new concepts in libraries; Government information dissemination and public access; and the enhancement of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). This includes elements of the management of electronic information, such as version control, authentication, and preservation of digital information. GPO is looking for individuals to be selected on the basis of their expertise and experience to serve a three-year term on the Council.

Are you interested in being considered for possible nomination or wish to suggest someone else for nomination? If so, please send the following by December 1 to serekson@gmail.com:

    • ALA membership number
    • Curriculum vitae (CV) that includes ALA, GODORT, state, local, and/or regional activities
    • A cover letter that includes a brief statement (no more than 200-500 words) of why the candidate would be an effective member of the Depository Library Council
