There remains (as of 2 minutes ago) a live session in the Conference Scheduler for a LexisNexis Breakfast at the Westin. Many people apparently have put it on their schedules. THIS SESSION WILL NOT OCCUR.

Instead, if you planned to attend the formerly-LexisNexis-now-Proquest Breakfast, you need to be in the Hilton Riverside. See http://connect.ala.org/node/137908 .

The GODORT schedule has been updated.

    Hi,

Do we need to rsvp for the breakfast? I've not seen anything come through. Anybody have a suggestion?

    Thanks,

    Lynda

No idea. I just got an email from Diane Smith this morning saying the GODORT schedule was wrong because at the time it listed the location for the LexisNexis version rather than the Proquest. I pointed all of this out to her, but haven't heard anything back yet. I never saw any messages about the breakfast either and I've gotten them for years now.

I ended up asking my Proquest sales rep. Dawn Devine for help to RSVP. She said it was OK if I sent out her contact information so that others could RSVP as well. It is: Dawn.Devine@proquest.com. She is a lovely person (and always gets me information fast when I have a problem).

    All -

I'm sorry - I had tried to forward a note to Govdoc-l about this (since this isn't strictly a GODORT event) but it got rejected.  I forwarded it up the line but unfortunately never got the final "rejected" note.  I feel like I'm on a bad game show!

Most of you should have received invitations from our marketing department, but I know that sometimes these get routed to spam filers, so you may want to check there if you are puzzled.

Anyway, there is limited seating still available.  If you would like to attend, please forward this note, with your information, to Earl.Shimabukuro@proquest.com  and he will keep track.

    Sorry about the confusion!

    -Andrea Sevetson

I saw this in the schedule and thought it odd, knowing that ProQuest had purchased the CIS products from LN. I did not receive anything in the mail for the breakfast either but called my ProQuest rep. and he was very helpful in getting me on the list. Although short notice you might want to contact your PQ vendor representative. Good luck, Bill Sleeman
