The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

  • 1.  State and regional documents groups

    The GODORT membership committee has a list of state and regional groups focused on government information: http://www.ala.org/rt/godort/godortmembership/stateregional

    I'm not sure when it  was last updated but the membership committee would like to update the list.  We know there are broken links and we would  like to move the list to a libguide.  This would allow the membership committee to more easily update the information.   As GODORT members could you please email me information about any state or regional government information/documents  groups you are aware of and perhaps are a member of?   If your organization is on the list above, please let me know if there is a more up to date URL or other info you can provide.   This information will be used to build a current libguide of organizations.

    As membership committee chair I appreciate your help.
