The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    With the 2020 Annual Conference cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, GODORT will be an active participant in and around the ALA Virtual Event in June.  Our sponsored programs will occur during the ALA Virtual Event, while our business meetings will take place the following week.  To attend GODORT's programs, business meetings, and discussions:

    • Programs - Registration for the ALA Virtual Event is required to attend GODORT's programs; please visit 2020.alavirtualevent.org for further details.
    • Business meetings, interest group/task force meetings, and awards ceremony – advance registration is required to attend GODORT's business meetings, , interest group/task force meetings, and awards ceremony.  After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing instructions for how to join the meeting.  To register, please visit the GODORT Virtual Annual Meeting Registration Form.

    The full GODORT Virtual Annual 2020 program and meeting schedule is available on the GODORT website.  Meeting agendas will be available by mid-June 2020 on our Annual Conference LibGuide.
