On the one hand, I'm glad that they listened and are responding this way.  On the other hand, I feel like I'm already moving on.  As much as I really enjoy the D&D system, I'm suddenly much more interested in other systems.  I've needed to expand my TTRPG life more thoroughly for a while and this gave me the push I need.  I'm just less interested in D&D now.  While I'm glad they're listening, for me the damage is already done.

Couldn't have said it better. I've purchased the PDFs for a bunch of other TTRPGs, but haven't had the...push I guess that I needed to really give them a fair shot. Although it's great that they rolled back the changes, the door has already been kicked down, and I'm wandering through. A couple of the RPGs I've found even fix the issues my group has had with getting too rules-heavy or stuck in the planning phase, so I'm excited to see where it goes!

Glad to see they backpedaled but I agree, the damage is already done. I'm interested to see what Paizo comes up with for their Open RPG Creative License.
