Hey folks - while as a roundtable we are really trying to move to a direction where we promote game purchasing and publisher/library relationships that are mutually beneficial, I stumbled across this in my state email list where a popular game maker is looking to send free copies: the Cards Against Humanity people were seeking to send a free copy of the new game, Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition, to every library in the country. Individuals who work at a public library are asked to send an email to:
Mail@CardsAgainstHumanity.com and include your favorite recommendation of a family-friendly book. In return, they will send you a form to fill out so you can receive your free game. I just received my form and filled it out - looking forward to getting the game, especially since I'm a teen services librarian. So stoked!
(I recommended Shadow & Bone, Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom, and The Inquisitor's Tale.)
