GeoPlunge and HistoryPlunge - Free, Online Tournaments

GeoPlunge and HistoryPlunge are two physical games from LearningPlunge. They have participated in past ALAPlay gaming events and are used in my School Library System. We purchased copies of GeoPlunge for all of our fifth grade classrooms in hopes of reviving a local geography tournament...then COVID closed things down. But LearningPlunge took things online and has been hosting virtual tournaments for schools (and individual students) from around the country. Here is the latest update from them about Spring tournaments.

    ----

LearningPlunge is gearing up for our spring virtual GeoPlunge and HistoryPlunge tournaments. If your students would like to participate, the schedule and registration links are below. Note that to accommodate spring breaks, we are running the 1st session 2 times so players can choose which week to participate.

We have attached flyers for both GeoPlunge and HistoryPlunge.   Please feel free to forward this email to your students' parents so if their children are interested in this fun, virtual educational activity, they can register them to participate.  We ran a similar program in the fall and the children loved it.  It is absolutely free as well.

    SCHEDULE

Time for all 4:00 PM ET (contact us for alternatives)
As with the fall tournament, the first 3 weeks will cover a subset of information and the final week will pull it all together.
