    Hi Chris,

Saw this great post about gaming in Orlando and thought it would be great for this Round Table to host an event, official or unofficial, at one of these places.

Great idea! I will look into seeing if we can do something with one of them.

While I don't know much about most of the places listed, I have been to the Geek Easy and it's a must see if you have transportation. Though small, with only a few games, it is a great little place that also hosts some Nerdcore shows from time to time.

It sounded like fun! Sadly, transportation could be an issue to that one and some of the others. Player1 Video Game Bar however is much closer to the convention center area. I have reached out to them to see about our gathering there. Does Sunday night work for most folks?

Yes, I think this is a fantastic idea. We had brought this idea up in San Francisco. The issue will the transportation and costs, if we arrange transportation. The big question is if it is a RT thing, do we arrange transportation or do we have people meet there.

Transportation is an issue. LITA Happy Hour doesn't do transportation but I think they try to be in walking distance or near one of the shuttle bus hotels. Player1 is 8 miles away (by far closest from the list!) but would require personal transportation. The other option is to look at a closer spot that isn't a gaming bar and we make it a gaming bar.

Orlando isn't the best city for transportation. While Dave and Busters is a chain, it is on International Drive, and only a little over a mile walk. So, it might be a good choice.

Also, there's a trolley that goes up and down International Drive; only concern is, at least in years past, the trolley stops running at about 10 pm.
