Registration for the American Library Association’s International Games Day 2013 is now open at http://bit.ly/igd13reg. IGD is celebrating its sixth year on November 16th, 2013. This year’s event has some great sponsors who are giving out free games to early United States registrants:
USAopoly is donating 500 copies of Tapple.
Konami is donating demo decks of Yu-gi-oh.
Heartland Products is donating 250 copies of Square Shooters and Rodeo Rummy.
International and United States participants will have access to GameTable Online and are also eligible to participate in two video game tournaments, one for Mario Kart and one for Super Smash Bros., as well as a Global Gossip Game.
Libraries interested in games and gaming can view the International Games Day blog for more information and can follow our IGD Facebook page to receive gaming tips and participate in discussions about the event.
