    Larry Neal is the director of the Clinton-Macomb Public Library, a state-of-the-art district library serving 170,000 residents. He has 31 years of public library experience, holds an MBA from Oakland University and an MSI-LIS from the University of Michigan. He is a past president of the Michigan Library Association, president-elect of the Public Library Association, and a Library Journal Mover & Shaker. In his spare time he helped restore library services for his home city of Bloomfield Hills through three millage campaigns in three years, the last one finally passing in 2011.
