Although the NMRT does a great job connecting new members of ALA to one another and to the greater organization, this group seeks to connect those who are entering the field as their first career. There are many challenges and hurdles to jump starting a career in the field, particularly when it comes to acquiring and demonstrating experience and leadership potential. This forum is an opportunity to discuss the challenges, network, and offer suggestions for improving one another's abilities to successfully break into the field.
