Interim report -- Audio Metadata Task Force

Here is a brief report on the meeting of the Audio Metadata Task Force at Midwinter.

The group reviewed the information collected so far on the wiki we are using to compile content for the audio metadata list we intend to produce.  We divided up the work of finding examples of institutions that are using each of the metadata standards/guidelines we have identified.  We also divided up the work of finding out what formats are acceptable for posting on the PARS website and what bureaucratic hoops we need to jump through to get it there.

Charlie Kolb said that NEH would like to be able to refer to this document in giving guidance to people writing proposals, and that it would be helpful for them if it can be made available by March.  We will be trying to meet this deadline.
