GODORT Oral Histories project

  • 1.  GODORT Oral Histories project

An Oral Histories effort has been underway within GODORT, led quite capably by Tanya Finchum, Oklahoma State University.  She'll be in Chicago, collecting stories and memories from even more GODORT greats.  We are seeking volunteers to assist with the project, and Tanya would like to cycle off chairing the effort.  At least three volunteers are sought, and technical skills (ability with recording, uploading, preserving files) are a plus, but not required.
    Expectations for volunteers:

Serve a 1- year term on this project
    Learn about oral history methods
Help us capture at least one more oral history per conference
This is an ad hoc project but can be formalized into GODORT's organization if we can keep the gears of the project turning -- which looks quite likely, based on members' enthusiasm.
Won't you assist us by volunteering to help with oral histories?
