Cass, the system does seem to work fine for polling on an issue.  It was good to have the draft resolution close for review.  The only thing I wished for was to know why people voted for or against the resolution in the poll.  I think this might work best for polling a group after there has been discussion and pros and cons have been discussed.

Cathy, thank you for weighing in. I was testing this feature with a resolution that I did not expect to be particularly controversial.  A few observations thus far: the votes are not confidential (perhaps making some reluctant to vote?), require a bit of effort (logging on, figuring things out -- there's a low voter turnout thus far!), and yes I should have conducted the poll after discussion.  People are still free to comment now and offer pros & cons to GODORT's supporting this resolution.
