The only question I have is about the "transitions" column or whatever they call it. Atlhough the proposal mentions that the News Editor will be responsible for collecting and posting this information on rbms.info, their suggested manual changes do not include it, but seem rather to limit news items to those submitted by officers and committee chairs.

Leslie on Wed, 01/20/2010 - 9:06pmIntroduction: Scholarships for the RBMS preconference used to be awarded by a joint committee comprising members of the Budget & Development, Diversity, and Membership & Professional Development committees. Now its own committee, the Scholarships Committee membership is designed to ensure representation from the committees who are charged with closely-related interests. This is also the first committee to be explictly designated as a virtual committee.
Discussion is open to all interested parties; a vote of the Executive Committee will be taken on Monday, 25 January.
