Welcome to the AASL Bylaws & Organization Committee!

I want to invite you to introduce yourself to the other committee members.

I am Robbie Nickel and work at Sage Elementary School in Spring Creek, Nevada. We are a K-5 school with about 560 students and part of the Elko County School District. I have been at the school for several years, but have also worked at a K-12 school and in the public library field. I served on the Bylaws and Organization Committee several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the work. Having just left the AASL Board I am also familiar with the overall revision of the Bylaws. We should have a good time with new material and helping to pick up any loose ends found as the Bylaws get a second look.

Spring Creek is just outside of Elko and at the foot of the Ruby Mountains. We have already had our first snowfall. My husband and I enjoy walking with our golden retriever, Samwise, and our border collie, Gimli. We also have a cat who thinks he is a dog, so he also goes on a leash on occasion.

Please add your own introductions.

Robbie
