ASCLA Awards Committee (Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies) Committee
Thank you for contributing your thoughts over the past month about a variety of issues. The deadline for nominations for 2014 has been set for Feb. 1. We hope that this will help generate some more applications, and it will also help alleviate any problems that may be created by my position being vacant (likely until Thanksgiving).
The nomination forms are now available as both PDF and Word documents on each award's webpage. We do not have the software available here to create a fillable PDF--if a member(s) of the committee would like to take that task on, that would be great. Andrea Hill, ASCLA web manager (firstname.lastname@example.org) can upload any new versions of the form.
While my position is vacant, all nominations are going to Leighann Wood, with questions directed to Susan.

Before I go I will send out a blast to listservs about the nomination period. Any promotion you can do to your own audiences--retweeting, sharing via Facebook, or sending out messages to listservs--would be greatly appreciated!
