ALA Annual 2018 Program: Leading with Linked Data - June 23, Saturday at 1-2 pm

Colleagues, we will be hosting a discussion forum at ALA Annual 2018 in New Orleans with two confirmed speakers so far.

The topic of the forum is on linked data and how academic libraries can "lead" their institutions with this new method for discovery, access and collaboration. Currently the discussion forum is under consideration to be co-sponsored by ALCTS (stay tuned for that) !

Title: Leading with Linked Data

Date: June 23, Saturday, 1-2 pm

Location: Conference Center Room  TBD

Speakers: Dr. Phil Schreur from Stanford University Libraries, Dr. Erik Mitchell from UC Berkeley Libraries and one more TBC speaker.

Don't know what linked data is and what it can do for your library? Join us to hear from expert leaders about this innovation in this open discussion on linked data. The presentation will be summarized for those who aren't able to attend.

Thanks!

Ray Pun, ACRL Leadership Discussion Group 2017-2018
