The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Please read the attached documents in preparation for the Breakout Meeting scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 8:30-10:00 AM in the Duxbury Room of the Hyatt Regency Boston.  You will be given the opportunity to respond to the report via discussion using the table in Appendix 5 as a prompt. 


    These two documents have gone through many revisions; but if you see typos or other inconsistencies in the mechanics, please contact me directly.

    I just wanted to thank the committee of Stephanie Braunstein, Sarah Erekson, Valerie Glenn, Barbara Miller, Barbie Selby, Bill Sudduth.  Ex-officio Members:  Helen Sheehy, Stephen Woods. for their work. I'm impressed you have one scenario that reduces the positions to be filled by more than half.
