Hello! This group is for librarians with a background in philosophy, with a goal of having lunch together at ALA conferences and talking about issues of shared interest the way only philosopher-librarians can. If it develops, we could even have a speaker. Open to all librarians (and other staff) who have an academic background in philosophy, be it a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D.

We are a group of librarians who have a background in philosophy, whether it's our bachelor's degree or a masters or Ph.D. Our mission is to have a social meeting, maybe a lunch, during an ALA conference, and discuss issues of shared interest as only philosopher-librarians can.
