The description of the program "Experimenting with Animation: Lehman College's Animated Information Literacy Advocate" at http://ala14.ala.org/node/14575 and in the printed program is not correct.

The new, corrected description and title are:

Program Title: Got Innovation?

Program Description: Sparks! Ignition Grants are small awards that encourage libraries to develop dynamic and innovative projects that push digital scholarship within the library community. With this unique investment of federal funding, IMLS gives libraries the opportunity to test and evaluate ways they operate and the services they provide to the public. This two-part program will begin with guidance from IMLS staff on how to apply for a Sparks! Ignition Grant and answers to question such as: “What is dynamic?” or “How can my library provide innovative services to meet a growing public need?”
Next, one of this year's grantees, a librarian at Lehman College (City University of New York), will present a project developed by her and her colleagues. They are testing whether an animated character, capable of real-time interactions with students, can provide effective information literacy learning opportunities. The results of their focus groups and pre-/post-testing will be presented, as well as the ways their project met the goals of the Sparks! Ignition Grant program.

Speaker Names: Tim Carrigan, Senior Program Officer, Institute for Museum and Library Services; Jennifer Poggiali, Assistant Professor and Instructional Technologies Librarian, Lehman College, CUNY

Location and time are still the same:
