    Do you like to talk about maps and map collections? Would you like to take on a leadership position in MAGIRT? If so, this opportunity is for you!

    MAGIRT is looking for a volunteer to serve as coordinator of the Map Collection Management Discussion Group.This discussion group provides a forum for discussion of and recommendations on issues concerning the acquisition and management of cartographic materials of various formats, in collections at different types of libraries.The coordinator is responsible for soliciting discussion topics and facilitating the discussion group’s in-person meetings at Midwinter and Annual.The term for this position is 2 years, starting with Annual 2012. Must be a MAGIRT member or willing to join MAGIRT.
