Tour WWOZ, an Independent Jazz Radio Station http://www.wwoz.org/, Monday, June 27th, 2:30pm
“WWOZ 90.7 FM is the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Station, a community radio station currently operating out of the French Market Corporation Offices in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our governance board is appointed by the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Foundation. We are a listener-supported, volunteer-programmed radio station. WWOZ covers many events live in and around the city and across the United States. We also broadcast live from the famed New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival annually.” (from Web site)
We may try to create a taxi-pool if there is enough interest. Please let us know in your email if you are interested in group transportation to the station, or if you plan to meet us there. As we get a sense of nearer the day of the tour, we will email out meeting times and places to those who have responded. The tour will begin at WWOZ at 2:30pm, so any meeting for group transportation will probably be at about 2pm.
