The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    The Executive Committee of the Intellectual Freedom Round Table is meeting in person Saturday, June 25, from 9:00 - 10:00 am, in room 153, Washington Convention Center.

    IFRT Executive Committee Meetings include the officers, directors-at-large, and committee chairs of the Intellectual Freedom Round Table. They provide oversight of round table business, discuss and plan events and initiatives, and vote on formal decisions.

    The agenda and the minutes from the May 2022 meeting are posted in ALA Connect.

    Everyone attending the ALA conference is welcome and encouraged to participate in this meeting.
