August 2022 OCLC Virtual AskQC Office Hours Invitation
For understandable reasons, MARC bibliographic field 245 is probably entitled to consider itself the first field among equals. The title statement does play an outsized role in every bibliographic record, after all. But as domineering as field 245 may be, there are plenty of other 2XX fields worthy of consideration.
Join us in August 2022 for "2xx Fields, Not Just a Title," when Charlene Morrison and Robin Six take a closer look at each of the MARC 2xx fields. As usual, this Virtual AskQC Office Hours session will be presented live twice to accommodate a wide swath of time zones: First on Tuesday, August 9, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, and a second time on Thursday, August 18, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Please note that each of these times is Eastern Time in the United States. Please adjust for your own time zone.
Following each presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the VAOH topic or about any other WorldCat quality matter that comes to mind.
