    SEDLS 2022 Call For Proposals

    The Southeast Data Librarian Symposium (SEDLS) conference planning committee invites proposals for virtual workshops, short talks, and poster presentations for SEDLS 2022! Check out last year's program to view abstracts, posters, and presentation recordings for an idea of content.

    Topics of interest include:

    • Using available tools for research data management
    • Using data analysis and data visualization tools
    • Data support for student research
    • Addressing data literacy in the curriculum

    Please submit your proposal at https://forms.gle/4L1seC8eJh5nqZDJ7 by Friday, July 15, 2022Proposal abstracts will undergo blind peer review and proposers will be notified of programming decisions in mid-August. All questions should be directed to se.datalibrarian@gmail.com.

    SEDLS 2022 Save the Date

    The 2022 Southeast Data Librarian Symposium (SEDLS) conference will be held online October 12 - 14, 2022. SEDLS provides an opportunity for librarians and other research data specialists to explore developments in the field of data librarianship, including the management and sharing of research data. In addition to learning about new work in the field, attendees will have the opportunity to network and build partnerships with regional colleagues. It is open to all who wish to attend, including students, data managers, and data scientists.

    Registration will open at the end of August; please keep an eye out for emails, visit the SEDLS 2022 website and follow @SEDataLibrarian on Twitter.
