Charge: The composition and the duties of the Board of Directors are defined in Article IX of the ACRL Bylaws: Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall have general oversight and direction of the affairs of the Association. It shall conduct all business pertaining to the Association, and shall have authority to make decisions for the Association during the periods between meetings.

    Dear ACRL Board,

     

    Please see the attached Board action form and cast your vote through the following two polls to vote on the following:

    • Doodle Poll for Action 1: That the ACRL Board of Directors approves the above factors are sufficient for making a "Virtual-only" recommendation to the ACRL Executive Board and Director if circumstances warrant, when evident and/or no later than January 14, 2022.
    • Doodle Poll for Action 2: That the ACRL Board of Directors approves that the ACRL Executive Committee and Executive Director will have the final decision-making authority on the feasibility of the in-person component of the RBMS 2022 Conference and decide no later than January 21, 2022.

     

    The voting period will be 10/20/21-10/26/21, and Board members will confirm their votes at the next synchronous meeting.
