Project Outcome (www.projectoutcome.org) helps public libraries understand and share the impact of essential library services and programs. It is designed to give libraries simple tools and supportive resources to help turn better data into better libraries. This community is for Project Outcome users at public libraries to discuss their use of outcome measurement, ask each other about patron engagement strategies, and further the thoughts and conversations that begin with projectoutcome.org. Here, you can find various threads to ask and answer questions, start your own conversations, or further your own learning about how libraries are using outcome measurement to improve their patron-focused programs and services.
For technical assistance with the toolkit or your library's account, please contact info@projectoutcome.org.
When:  Apr 5, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (CT)

PLA is excited to announce a new feature available in Project Outcome for public libraries! Beginning in March 2023, users are able to link their program surveys to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this free webinar, presenters will share how libraries have applied the SDGs. Attendees will learn about the SDGs and how their library can leverage Project Outcome to capture and share their library’s impact in their community and the impact of libraries worldwide.

Register for a free Project Outcome for public libraries (www.projectoutcome.org) account today to take advantage of this new feature and everything the toolkit has to offer. Read more about using the SDGs in the toolkit in this resource (login required). Project Outcome is open to all libraries internationally.

Tech Requirements

This webinar will be presented using the Zoom platform. Please review Zoom technical requirements and support information, and test your connection.

Once you've joined the webinar, there are two ways to connect your audio: via computer (VoIP) or via telephone. No microphone is required. PLA works with its webinar platform provider to assure the highest quality audio is being delivered to attendees. However, variables over which PLA has no control—such as the speed of your Internet connection or traffic on your local network—can affect the end quality of the webinar audio delivered by your computer. Each webinar’s audio is also available by telephone via a toll number, so we recommend you have access to a long-distance enabled phone as a backup in case you experience audio issues with VoIP. If you do encounter any problems during the webinar, you will receive a link to its archived recording within a week of the live event and can review anything you missed.
