Webinar on June 5 at 2-3 Central Time:
Public library systems throughout the country are planning for phased re-openings, others have already started opening. Much of what systems are talking about at the administrative level are curb-side pick-up procedures, virtual services, and job-seeking. But what about social work services with those that are most vulnerable? How do we keep customers who are experiencing homelessness, those with substance use struggles, and mental health illnesses who are desperate for a bathroom, wifi, and an opportunity to get out of the elements. How do social workers, peers, and those working with the most marginalized connect with customers with the most basic needs?

Join the PLA SW Task Force and colleagues throughout the country to discuss what comes next. We will discuss the role of social work programs at the macro, mezzo, and micro-levels.
