I am a library professional with 20+ years of public library experience with the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District (The Library District). In my current position as an Adult Services Assistant I utilize my creativity, experience, and knowledge to create a welcoming, helpful, and fun environment for our patrons. I will be graduating in May 2023 with a MLIS from the University of Arizona where I am a member of the Knowledge River Program (Cohort 21) on a full scholarship. I am interested in working with diverse communities with a focus on Latino library services. I am also passionate about creating a welcoming environment for all through diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility work.
