Are you new to academic librarianship? Would you like to hear from other librarians about the practical aspects of working in academic libraries, across different institution-types and roles? Out now is a new podcast, Library Table Talk, where Hannah Cabullo and myself have conversations with librarians across the country. We started this to create a space where other early and mid career librarians can be a virtual cohort of sorts, a place to ask questions and connect with librarian “mentors” who share stories and advice about joining and growing in the profession. The first episode is on “Becoming a liaison librarian” and is available to listen to on our website.
You can find out more about us on our website, where you can also listen to our first episode! We currently are not set up for distribution through podcasting apps, but are working on it and hope to be available soon.
If you do give it a listen, would love to hear feedback from you!
