I am the Director of The Craig Public Library on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska. My academic background is in archaeology, museums, and archives (M.A. in Maritime History/Nautical Archaeology with a concentration in museums and historic preservation). In 2015 the library was awarded the National Medal from the Institute of Museum and Library Services for its contributions to our community and for leadership beyond our island. I am the Secretary of the Board of the Association of Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL) as well as a member of the Alaska Statewide Advisory Board for the Alaska OWL (Online With Libraries) Program.
