The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.
The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.
Stopping #censorship requires communicating the shared consequences--#DefendResearch has partnered with Research Consulting to tackle just that. Register for our 9/15 webinar "From Anecdote to Evidence: Mapping the Impact of US Government Censorship on Public Health Research," to learn more about this research and advocacy project from Rob Johnson, Founder and Managing Director of Research Consulting, who will be in conversation with #DefendResearch team members. Attendees will also have an opportunity to provide input on the resources they feel would be most effective to support advocacy efforts to fight government censorship.
