The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    Are you interested in taking on a leadership role in IFRT? The Nominating Committee wants to hear from you!

    We will be nominating at least 2 candidates for Chair-Elect and Treasurer, and at least 4 candidates for Director-at-Large. IFRT has many opportunities for virtual engagement, so you will have a meaningful role regardless of what activities take place in person next year.  To express interest in being nominated or to ask a question about running for IFRT, you can reply to this thread or message me directly by October 1.
