The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    Interested in contributing to privacy projects? Join the ALA Intellectual Freedom Committee's Privacy Subcommittee as a member, liaison, or volunteer! Volunteer and liaison opportunities are available year-round, while Privacy Subcommittee members are appointed every June. If you're interested in serving in any of these roles, please fill out this form.  If you have any questions, please let me know.
