The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    I've been asked to pass this along as the NMRT Liaison:

    Are you a member of the ALA New Members Round Table and seeking funding for ALA Annual 2012 in Anaheim, CA?  Apply for one of the two travel awards available through NMRT:  the 3M/NMRT Professional Development Grant and the Shirley Olofson Memorial Award.  Applications are due December 12 (Shirley Olofson Memorial) and 16 (3M/NMRT).  Details about applying for these awards are available:  http://www.nmrt.ala.org/notes/?p=120.
