The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    IFRT Election Results are in.   I want to personally thank everyone who stood for election.   Having  done that many times myself, and been  both elected, and not elected I appreciate both. 
                                  Those elected are:  VICE-CHAIR/CHAIR-ELECT  Rhonda Evans
                                                                             DIRECTOR-AT-LARGE-  Johana Orellana Cabrera
                                                                                                                                    Amanda Vazquez
                                                                             IFRT COUNCILOR  Peter D. Coyl
                                                                             TREASURER   Crystal Schimpf
    The three Amendments to the Bylaws all passed.  (Changing name of Program of Committee; Charges of Standing Committees; )
    Congratulations to those who were elected.  I encourage all of our membership to support our new officers, to support IFRT and  join us in supporting Intellectual Freedom.
