    Hello Friends

You may have noticed an increase in the challenges in school districts across the country. Because so many of them target Lawn Boy and Gender Queer, we published a blog post that includes some helpful resources for the books and some general guidance. Lawn Boy and Gender Queer: The Trend Toward Book Challenges

It was written by AASL member and intellectual freedom award winner Martha Hickson. Please feel free to share it with your members and colleagues and to let them know that OIF is available if they need support with a challenge in their school or library. Reporting is so important.
