The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.
The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

While it is an honor to be elected IFRT Treasurer, I must unexpectedly step down. Not long after the election results were reported, I accepted a new job as a public library director in New Hampshire. This new position will place considerable demands on my time, and also may limit my travel capabilities in the next few years. For these reasons, I think it is best for me to step down, and to allow someone else to fill this important role on the IFRT executive committee. I will still maintain my IFRT membership and will continue serving on the Bylaws and Organization committee.
Jennifer Steele has agreed to accept the position of IFRT Treasurer.
