Unable to host in-person game nights at your library? Fear not! Dana Scott is here to share her Board Game Arena (BGA) wisdom and show you how to host online gaming programs! You will learn how to create a Board Game Arena account, set up games, learn new games, and work with the built-in microphone and chat features on Board Game Arena. If you have created a BGA account, there will also be time to play a game or two!
Presenter:
Dana Scott is the Library Director at the Marion County Library in Yellville, Arkansas. She has a passion for gaming and brought that passion to the little library in Yellville. After visiting with library gamers at ALA, she joined GameRT and then decided to run for Member-at-Large and won! She is on the Programming and International Game Month committees with GameRT and is excited to share the Board Game Arena world with you. Dana has been hosting virtual gaming programs through Board Game Arena since the beginning of 2020 and has played over 2000 games on that platform!
