I am going to follow Matthew’s example and say hello to everyone here. I am the Youth Technology Librarian at the Mount Prospect Public Library in Mount Prospect, IL. I am the selector for our youth video game collection and I also am the programmer for our video game and technology programs for young patrons. I have done programs on Scratch and stop-motion animation in our computer lab and video game programs for our young patrons using four gaming systems all going at once. In 2013, we created a program called Family Gaming, which is a walk-in program for families to play video games together and it has been very popular.  I am interested in learning more about other programs libraries are presenting with video games and board games. I am also interested in if any libraries are using apps in their gaming programs. I look forward to hearing from all of you.
