Based on his Library Technology Report, Ted Fons will discuss ways in which we can expose our services and content on the open web right now, meeting our users where they are. A panel of librarians will share their first hand experiences implementing the concepts and ideas discussed by Ted. Come with questions, leave with ideas.
Program Objectives
Our cataloging and metadata functions in the library are focused on applying specific rules, accuracy of data and workflows. But what affect does the user have on our work? Based on his Library Technology Report, Ted Fons will discuss ways in which we can focus our work to the needs of our users.
