    Dear ALA Members,

I am conducting a research study on AI literacy among academic library employees, with a focus on identifying gaps in knowledge and training needs. I am writing to invite you to participate in this study, which will involve completing an online survey that should take approximately 15-20 minutes of your time.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current AI literacy levels of academic library employees and identify areas where further training and development may be needed. The findings will help inform the design of targeted professional development programs and contribute to the understanding of AI literacy in the library profession.

Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time without any consequences. The survey is anonymous, and no personally identifiable information will be collected. Data will be stored securely, and the results will be reported in aggregate form, ensuring that no individual responses are identifiable.
