    I agree with all the points in this resolution.  I think we should look at having a single informal social at each conference for the purpose of getting to know each other and actually socializing so we can work together.  It could be done in the same way that GODORT or RUSA have social events.  But I think it should be for the purposes of bonding and making connections (learning what people are working on, etc.) and not for discussing Council business.

    Sonnet - Thanks for the support. I find the idea of a Council social quite compelling…. Something we haven’t done before and if you even get to meet several new colleagues - it is worth the time.
