The North American RDA Committee (NARDAC) Update Forum is a biannual event aimed at bringing together experts in the field of library and information science to present/discuss developments in RDA and RDA-related cataloging work. In addition to an update on NARDAC's work, this fall's forum will feature presentations on recent developments in RDA. Chelsea Hoover (Music Library Association, MLA) will discuss the development of the MLA Policy Statements for Official RDA. In her role as Chair of the RSC Music Advisory Working Group, she will also introduce the group and outline its current work plan. Sarah Hovde (Online Audiovisual Catalogers, OLAC) will present on the work involved in incorporating OLAC's Unified Best Practices into the RDA Toolkit.
This online event will be held 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. EDT on Monday, October 19.
The event is free to all but requires registration. The event will be recorded.
