The ALCTS/LITA Authority Control Interest Group (ACIG) seeks interested division members to stand for election to the following positions:

    3 Member-at-Large positions (two-year terms)

1 Chair-Elect (1 year as Chair-Elect, 1 year as Chair, 1 year as Past Chair)

    Secretary (2-year term)

Members-at-Large constitute a pool of expertise and contacts to develop ideas for presentations and reporting sessions.  They also assist with operational tasks associated with the meetings.

The Chair-Elect assists the chair with the tasks related to developing and assembling presentations and reporting sessions, and with communicating with ALCTS and LITA administration.

The election will be held at the ACIG Business meeting at the conclusion of the program session at ALA Annual in Washington, D.C.

Interested parties should send an e-mail to the ACIG Chair (Martha.Sanders@iii.com) and the Secretary (mscharff@wustl.edu) giving their name, contact information, the position being sought, and a brief statement of qualifications and interest in ACIG service.  If the candidate will not be present at the election, that must be made known.

Contact either Martha Sanders or Mark Scharff at the addresses above with any questions you may have.
