QualityMetrics is enrolled in e-verify. The process was relatively straight forward but it took a little time to sort out exactly how to respond as I recall -- I had to do it three years ago and I do not recall much beyond that at this point but it is useful as some state contracts require that you submit a confirmation that you are registered in e-verify.
I did not have to issue any I-9; this is for employees that are do not have the green card I believe. So, you should not need that part of e-verify if you are a sole proprietor but they have a manual and a kind of test that you have to go through that will help you learn many details which you will probably forget after you pass the test/audit since most things do not apply to you.
Kind regards, Martha

Subject: E-Verify and I-9 form
Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone has gone through the enrollment with E-Verify and doing an I-9 form for any consulting gigs. If anyone has any advice on where to start, I'll take it!
How long does the process take to enroll and are there any tips and tricks? I have an LLC and I'm the sole proprietor and have no employees but I don't see where that's an option for enrolling but I'm probably missing something.
Thanks in advance,
